In a bowl of warm water, soak the dried lemon till it becomes tender.
Once tender, add in some chopped onions and MAGGI® Khaleeji Seasoning before mixing it well by hand to release all the flavors.
In a large bowl, add the beef along with some of the saffron rose water, remaining spices, lemon juice, yogurt and salt. Rub well and let marinate for an hour.
In a large heavy pot, layer the tahta: place potato slices, followed by half of the onion mixture, then the marinated beef, and finally the remaining onion mixture and tomatoes.
Top with some ghee and cover it with foil before placing the lid.
Cook at low heat for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, half boil the rice and infuse with the remaining saffron rose water.
Once the beef has cooked, open the pot and place the rice over the top layer.
Top with some more ghee, cover and let cook for another 30 minutes on low heat.
To serve, carefully flip the pot on a large tray.
